Job Description - Sales & Business Development Executive ANSYS Simulation Software

Job Summary

We
are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Business Development Executive to
drive market expansion and new business opportunities across Qatar regions. The
ideal candidate will have a professional or academic background in engineering
simulation software, with good understanding of ANSYS solutions or similar
companies (such as Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, or COMSOL) and their
applications. This role requires basic know how in identifying new markets,
creating strategic partnerships, and driving lead generation initiatives that
support the overall growth strategy with an opportunity to transition into a
full time sales role moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales: Act as a key enabler for Sales Account Managers in your region by managing
processes and engagements critical to deal progression & closure across
industries.

- Market
Expansion:
Identify and develop new business opportunities across
industries and geographies within Qatar region across industries.

- Lead
Generation & Pipeline Development:
Build and nurture a strong pipeline
of qualified leads to support long -term business growth. Collaborate closely
with the inside sales team to enhance lead generation and qualification,
ensuring a steady flow of high -quality opportunities.

- Industry
Networking:
Develop strategic relationships with industry stakeholders,
technology leaders, and research institutions to promote ANSYS solutions.

- Market
Research & Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends,
customer needs, and competitor strategies to refine business development
initiatives.

- Collaboration
with Sales & Technical Teams:
Work closely with internal teams to
ensure business opportunities are properly developed and supported through the
sales cycle.

- Brand
Awareness & Thought Leadership:
Participate at industry events,
conferences, and webinars to enhance brand visibility.

- New
Market Entry Strategy:
Work with RSD/BDM to Develop and execute strategies
for entering untapped industries and regions with ANSYS solutions.

- Reporting
& Business Insights:
Provide regular updates on market conditions,
opportunity status, and business development performance.

Key Requirements

-
Minimum 2 -5 years of experience in business development within engineering
simulation software (ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, COMSOL, etc.).

- Engineering
or Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Aerospace, or related
fields, MBA is preferred

- Strong
understanding of ANSYS engineering simulation software and its applications
across various industries. including computational fluid dynamics (CFD),
structural analysis (FEA), electromagnetics, and multi -physics modeling.

- Learn
& gain understanding of the Qatar engineering ecosystem, including industry
trends and challenges.

Proven track record in identifying and developing new business opportunities,
forming strategic alliances, and expanding market share.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in
English. And Arabic.

Willingness to travel extensively across the region for client meetings and
industry events as per business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with regional government initiatives supporting research and
innovation.

Strong network within the technology community in the Qatar Region.
