In this role, you will be working in our Information Technology Department, supporting Al‑Awalia’s digital transformation by ensuring the effective implementation, optimization, and support of SAP systems across the organization.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Adherence to quality, health & safety, information security, and business continuity policies.
- Configure and customize SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, PP) to meet business requirements.
- Support SAP system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and performance tuning activities.
- Participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects across business units.
- Provide second- and third-level support for SAP incidents and service requests.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, defects, and performance challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and data migration.
- Review and enhance business processes through SAP-enabled solutions and automation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and configuration guides.
- Manage SAP user roles, authorizations, and access controls in line with internal policies.
- Ensure SAP systems comply with internal controls, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support system scalability planning, vendor coordination, and future upgrades.
- Conduct user training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-transfer activities to improve adoption.
- Work closely with stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain to align SAP solutions.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager.
About you
For you to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working with SAP ERP systems.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Experience in one or more SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, PP).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and basic ABAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of IT best practices and enterprise systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Experience working with SAP vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
