Senior Chemist QA/QC - Petroleum & Lubricant Testing

• Maintain and improve the laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Manage quality documentation including SOPs, test methods, work instructions, records, and controlled documents.
• Coordinate internal audits, corrective actions, proficiency testing, method validation, and measurement uncertainty studies.
• Support accreditation activities and ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and customer requirements.
• Perform and supervise petroleum testing, lube oil and transformer oil testing in accordance with ASTM, IEC, and ISO standards.
• Review analytical data, validate test results, and authorize laboratory reports.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory safety, quality control, and good laboratory practices.
• Manage laboratory consumables, reference materials, equipment calibration, and maintenance activities.
• Support customer technical inquiries, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or related discipline.
• ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Auditor Certificate
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
• Hands-on experience in lubricant analysis, transformer oil testing or petroleum testing laboratories.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, ASTM, IEC methods and laboratory quality assurance practices.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
