Job Description - Senior Instrumentation Technician - Offshore

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation and control systems.

• Support offshore production operations by ensuring the availability and reliability of instrumentation equipment.

• Participate in shutdowns, start -ups, commissioning, and emergency maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with offshore HSE regulations, permit -to -work systems, and company procedures.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and calibration certificates

• Calibrate, test, and maintain transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and other field instruments.

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas, and SCADA systems.

• Perform loop checks, cause -and -effect testing, and functional testing of safety -critical instrumentation system

Requirements

8–10 years of experience in maintenance of oil & gas production installations

Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTS/DUT, or equivalent technical qualification
