Site Inspector - QA/QC

We are seeking a Site Inspector (QA/QC) who will ensure that design,
procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities
comply with contract documents, approved drawings, project specifications,
client standards, statutory regulations and the approved Quality Management
System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review
  and monitor the contractor’s Project Quality Plan, ITPs, method statements
  and quality procedures.
  
• Review
  material submittals, technical submissions and manufacturers’ documents
  before procurement and installation.
  
• Monitor
  inspections for:
  
• Architectural
  works
  
• Structural
  works
  
• Mechanical
  systems
  
• Electrical
  and ELV systems
  
• Fire-protection
  systems
  
• Specialist
  systems
  
• Conduct
  regular site-quality inspections.
  
• Identify
  quality deficiencies and issue site observations and NCRs.
  
• Verify
  corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Review
  Requests for Inspection, material-delivery inspections and
  factory-acceptance documentation.
  
• Ensure
  that only approved materials and acceptable workmanship are incorporated
  into the project.
  
• Monitor
  approved mock-ups, sample panels and benchmark installations.
  
• Review
  laboratory test reports, third-party inspection reports, testing and
  commissioning procedures, TAB reports and integrated-system testing
  records.
  
• Verify
  completion of snagging, de-snagging and punch-list activities before
  practical completion and final handover.
  
• Participate
  in quality audits, progress meetings, technical coordination meetings and
  joint site inspections.
  
• Maintain
  quality records, inspection registers, NCR logs, quality statistics and
  project documentation.
  
• Assist
  with payment-application reviews by confirming the quality and completion
  status of executed works.
  
• Promote
  continual improvement and ensure implementation of the Project Quality
  Management System throughout all project phases.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s
  Degree in Civil Engineering.
  
• ISO
  9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is highly desirable.
  
• Certified
  Quality Engineer or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  
• Minimum
  10 years of QA/QC experience in building-construction projects.
  
• Minimum
  5 years of experience in commercial office fit-out or high-end interior
  projects.
  
• Proven
  experience in Design & Build contracts.
  
• Strong
