STP Operator

• Operate and monitor all treatment processes (screens, aeration, clarifiers, filtration) and adjust pumps/blowers/chemical dosing based on flow rates and SCADA data

• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, blowers, and gearboxes, and troubleshoot process upsets like sludge bulking or foaming

• Collect wastewater samples and conduct routine lab tests (pH, DO, COD, BOD, MLSS) to optimize chemical treatment

• Strictly follow safety protocols (confined space, lock-out/tag-out) and maintain accurate shift logs for regulatory compliance

• Ensure plant housekeeping, manage chemical inventory, and coordinate with vendors for major breakdowns

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; OR ITI/Diploma in relevant trade with experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in STP operations with exposure to ASP, SBR, MBBR, or MBR technologies (1+ MLD capacity preferred)

• Wastewater Operator License is preferred; valid First-Aid/CPR certification is a plus

• Strong mechanical aptitude for pumps/valves, ability to interpret lab data, and basic SCADA/HMI literacy

• Physically fit for climbing, standing, and lifting up to 25kg; willing to work rotating shifts and emergency call-outs
