About the Job


In this role, you will be working in our Human Resources Division, supporting Al-Awalia’s learning, development, and performance management functions. You will play a key role in enhancing employee capabilities, driving performance excellence, and supporting Qatarisation initiatives through structured development programs, talent management, and succession planning. The role contributes to building a high-performing workforce that supports the company’s current and future business objectives.


 


Some of the responsibilities include:



  • Support the development and implementation of learning, development, and performance management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Contribute to the execution of Qatarisation initiatives through targeted employee development, career progression, and succession planning programs.

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual training plan and training budget.

  • Coordinate and administer the Performance Management System (PMS), including goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and performance improvement plans.

  • Analyze performance management outcomes and identify individual and organizational development needs.

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, coaching sessions, and development initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain training materials, presentations, learning resources, and development tools.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance outcomes.

  • Partner with department managers to identify competency gaps and recommend appropriate development solutions.

  • Support succession planning, talent development, and employee growth initiatives, with particular focus on high-potential and Qatari employees.

  • Monitor training attendance, training costs, and development outcomes against approved budgets and plans.

  • Maintain accurate training records, reports, and documentation for compliance, reporting, and audit purposes.

  • Coordinate with training providers, educational institutions, and consultants to ensure quality service delivery and value for investment.

  • Research and recommend best practices, trends, and innovative approaches in learning, development, and performance management.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance metrics related to training and employee development activities.

  • Support organizational initiatives that promote continuous learning, employee engagement, and performance excellence.

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding performance management processes and development planning.

  • Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned by the line manager in line with business requirements.


About You


For you to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Learning & Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Professional certification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Talent Management, or a related field is an advantage.

  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in training, learning & development, performance management, talent management, or related HR functions.

  • Good command of English & Arabic.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of learning and development methodologies, adult learning principles, and performance management practices.

  • Experience conducting training needs analysis and evaluating learning effectiveness.

  • Familiarity with talent development, succession planning, and employee development programs.

  • Understanding of Qatar Labour Law and HR best practices related to employee development and performance management.

  • Experience working with HR systems, learning management systems (LMS), and performance management platforms is preferred.

  • Experience working with SAP.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent planning, organization, and coordination capabilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Results-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Consultancy background is an advantage.
