Transport Coordinator

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Transport Coordinator in Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced professional capable of coordinating transport operations, vehicle movements, scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day logistics activities. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation requirements and allocate vehicles according to operational schedules.
  
• Plan vehicle movements, routes, pickup schedules, and deployment to support site and operational requirements.
  
• Coordinate with drivers, supervisors, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely transportation.
  
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, trip schedules, driver assignments, and transport documentation.
  
• Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate maintenance requirements to minimize operational disruptions.
  
• Track transportation activities and address scheduling delays or operational issues promptly.
  
• Ensure transport operations comply with applicable company procedures and safety requirements.
  
• Prepare transport-related reports and provide operational updates to management.
  

Required Skills

1. Transport Coordination — Strong capability in planning and controlling daily transport activities.
   
2. Fleet Operations — Experience coordinating vehicles, drivers, deployment, and vehicle availability.
   
3. Vehicle Scheduling — Ability to prepare and manage transportation and trip schedules.
   
4. Logistics Planning — Ability to coordinate transportation requirements with operational priorities.
   
5. Transport Documentation — Strong recordkeeping and reporting capability for vehicle and driver operations.
   

Preferred Skills

• Route planning and transport optimization.
  
• Fleet tracking and transport management systems.
  
• Experience coordinating transportation for large-scale engineering or project environments.
  

Work Experience Requirements

The posting requires 12–15 years of experience. Candidates should have substantial experience relevant to transportation, fleet coordination, logistics, or similar operational environments, with the ability to independently manage transport activities.
