As a MBC Sales Executive, you will:



  • Negotiate and sell groups, meetings and catering/ events;

    • Convert the business in order to reach the individual and hotel’s budget;

    • Respond to telephone inquiries/requests for group business in a timely manner. Define meetings/ groups specifics;

    • Suggest positive alternatives and ensure that business booked is within hotel parameters.

    • Processes all correspondence within acceptable hotel’s standard time limits;

    • Manage and maintain account files; keep the system updated with all the information

    • Prepare all sales documentation accurately;

    • Produce contracts, Banquet Event Orders and other related booking tools.

    • Works closely with Event Coordinators to facilitate customer bookings;



Our most successful MBC Sales Executive is someone who has:



  • An outgoing personality and willingness to serve;

  • Good organization skills, while being an excellent team player, able to work well with the Account Managers, Event Coordinators, other departments and other team members;

  • Previous experience in hotel industry or travel segment, or studies in the domain;

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills, in both Romanian and English;

  • Knowledge of hotel systems (ex. Opera) and Microsoft Office;

  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills;

  • Ability to sell and promote all products within the hotel;

  • Excellent knowledge of all hotel facilities, menus, room set-ups, audio-visual and other support services is a plus.
