Job Description - Database & DevOps Engineer (all genders)

Your mission:

Design and maintain the SCADA database architecture
Develop retention, aggregation and storage concepts
Optimize database performance and resource utilization
Develop database migration and recovery mechanisms
Define and maintain container orchestration for the SCADA system
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Automate builds, testing, packaging and deployments
Provide monitoring and observability solutions
Collaborate closely with Backend, Systems and Test engineers

Your profile:

3+ years as DevOps/Database engineer
TimeScaleDB or comparable time-series database
Database lifecycle management and performance optimizations
Podman and container orchestration
Backup and recovery concepts
CI/CD and build automation
Experience in agile software development
Good communication skills
Hands-on in industrial cybersecurity
Bonus: Experience with SCADA or comparable industrial systems
