Purpose: provides strategic and operational leadership for the local entity, ensuring smooth management of administrative, corporate and statutory functions, while acting as a Country Head proxy in interactions with authorities, regulators and key service providers. Can receive broader powers of representation externally upon Country Head authorization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational and Corporate Services Lead
· Lead local administrative functions including facilities & office management, logistics, HSE
· Coordinate with corporate service lines (HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance) to ensure seamless support for local teams
· Ensure adherence to local statutory, legal and regulatory requirements
· Implement operational processes and policies aligned with corporate standards
· Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization and employee engagement initiatives
2. Delegated Authority
· Authorized to act as Country Head proxy for interactions with local authorities, regulators and service providers
· Represent the entity at select business events, conferences and forums as authorized by the Country Head
· Sign operational and administrative documents with delegated authority including services contracts, office leases and regulatory filings
3. SPOC Role for Corporate Services
· Serve as Country Head’s single point of contact for all corporate services lines
· Ensure effective coordination, reporting and alignment between corporate and local operations
· Identify gaps in support functions and implement solutions
4. Strategic Contribution
· Provide operational input to strategic planning and growth initiatives
· Ensure continuity of operations in Country Head’s absence
· Gain comprehensive understanding of all local operations to prepare for potential succession into Country Head role
5. Team Leadership
· Manage local teams across administration, HSE, Compliance, Admin, Internal comms and Facilities
· Promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence
· Senior leadership / executive experience in administration, corporate services, compliance or operations in a multinational environment
· Strong operational, administration, legal and compliance expertise
· Proven experience in representing a company externally
· Demonstrated leadership in managing large teams
· Excellent stakeholder management, communication and decision making skills
· Ability to operate strategically and tactically with a track record in operational execution
· Capacity to act as Country Head proxy and assume broader responsibilities
Success Metrics – 12 months
· Smooth operational functioning and compliance with local requirements and corporate policies
· Timely and effective delivery of corporate support services
· Employee satisfaction and engagement in administrative and support teams
· Effective management of delegated authorities and local external relations
· Operational readiness for scaling up the entity
· Confidence in operational and compliance integrity
