Location: Cluj-Napoca / Brașov / Târgu Mureș / Iași

RIA Solutions Group is looking for a talented MD Java Software Developer to join our team in developing outstanding software solutions for a leading transportation and logistics company in the United States.

Their mission is centered around their unwavering dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction, providing innovative solutions, and maintaining a steadfast commitment to efficiency in both domestic and global transportation markets.

The Tech Stack utilized in the development process:

Java 25, JPA & SQL, RedHat OpenShift and Angular

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of development lifecycle


• Collaborating closely with clients, managers and team members to thoroughly understand project requirements


• Implementing clean, efficient code in the relevant language with thorough documentation


• Use testing methodologies to enhance functionalities based on test outcomes and user input


• Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or another technical/scientific field


• At least 3-4 years of experience in software engineering


• Java 25, Spring Boot 4.x, OpenShift


• Experience with OpenAPI / Swagger and REST API design


• Good knowledge of JPA/Hibernate & SQL


• Experience with message-based architectures


• Good knowledge of HTML & JavaScript


• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, Claude) integrated into daily coding, review, and debugging workflows


• Solid understanding of the fundamentals behind these tools, including prompting techniques, context handling, and their limitations


• Experience with Spring Boot Security and Auth-Server Implementations 


• Experience with configuration management


• Experience with dependency and versioning management across multiple projects


• Committed to ongoing professional development


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Collaborative team player


• Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of NPM and Angular or a similar framework / library


• Experience with containerized apps and container orchestration solutions


• Experience with IBM queues


• Experience with Secure Coding Best Practices


• Continuous integration and deployment experience
