Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and repair of CNC equipment within the facility.

This role involves planning and coordinating maintenance activities, managing personnel, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve productivity and ensure the smooth operation of critical manufacturing equipment.

The supervisor will lead a team of electrical and mechanical technicians, coordinating their activities to minimize downtime and optimize performance: (10…12 persons)

The ideal candidate will have experience leading multi-shift teams, with a strong foundation in CNC and robot automation repair, as well as a background in managing maintenance programs in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficient experience in manufacturing machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting (e.g. Lathes, Machining Centers. Milling machines, etc).;
• Possess a strong understanding of various maintenance disciplines, such as electrical, PLCs, motor controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and pumps;
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and standard and preventive machine maintenance procedures;
• Knowledge and experience in low-voltage electrical assemblies and wiring, as well as mechanical assemblies;
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical components, tools, and equipment commonly used in manufacturing. Knowledge may be gained through education, training or experience;
• Experienced in interpreting blueprints and technical documentation to ensure proper equipment servicing.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments;
• Leadership abilities to guide and motivate maintenance staff;

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and priorities.

Required Work Experience

Over 5 years of experience in similar positions.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/automation engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
