About the team 

We are actively involved in industrial testing, ensuring various industrial products and systems' quality, reliability, and safety. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive testing procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and resolving any issues. Join us to contribute to the advancement and integrity of industrial products and systems.  

How you will make an impact 

 Working in Accenture Industry X exposes you to cutting-edge technologies and provides you with various skills and expertise in digital transformation. 

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain performance, load, and stress testing scripts for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Define performance metrics (throughput, latency, error rates, etc.) and establish baselines and SLAs.

• Use tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to execute performance tests. (on our existing projects we're using JMeter)

• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git).

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

• Analyze results using tools such as Grafana, or CloudWatch and provide detailed performance reports.

• Support capacity planning and scalability assessments for production environments.

• Drive continuous improvement in performance testing strategy, automation, and reporting.

What you need to succeed 

• Proven experience in performance engineering or QA automation, with a strong focus on performance, load, and stress testing for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Hands-on expertise using performance testing tools, especially JMeter (LoadRunner is a plus).

• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts including throughput, latency, error rates, SLAs, baselines, and capacity metrics.

• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Git-based workflows.

• Proficiency in analyzing test results using monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar platforms.

• Solid knowledge of system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems, with the ability to identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Developers, DevOps, QA) to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and understanding of scalability and capacity planning concepts.

• Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Java, or similar) to develop and maintain test scripts.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to produce clear and actionable performance reports.

• A continuous improvement mindset, with experience refining test strategies, automation frameworks, and reporting processes.
