SAP Analytics Data Engineer - BW, SAC, Datasphere (m/f/d)

The Impact You Will Create

• Back-End Engineering & Architecture: Conception, construction and implementation of robust data warehouse structures (classic cloud).


• Advanced Data Modeling (SAP & Cloud): Development of complex, high-performance data models and customized logics both in classic environments and directly in the


• SAP Datasphere as well as in cloud data warehouses.


• Data Provisioning, Analytics & Frontend Reporting: End-to-end data provisioning from various source systems as well as the conceptual and visual creation of professional frontend reports and dashboards using state-of-the-art Bl tools.


• Strategy & Tech-Stack Optimization: Continuous evaluation and optimization of (cloud) technologies using sound SQL and development knowledge; mentoring of specialist departments and knowledge transfer.

Experience And Skills You Will Need

• 5 + years of in-depth practical experience in the SAP, cloud and DWH environment (full stack from data modeling to the finished frontend report)


• Experienced and agile data expert with a strong focus on modern data warehouse architectures; combines in-depth technical SAP know-how with modern cloud expertise and strong front-end reporting skills.


• Previous experience in designing and implementing high-performance data models in both classic SAP environments and modern cloud architectures

SAP Expertise

• Data Warehousing: SAP BW 4 HANA, SAP BW on HANA


• Modeling & Development: SQL, HANA Studio, ABAP (OO, CDS Views development of customized logic and interfaces)


• Cloud Data Management & Modeling: SAP Datasphere (including native data modeling),


• Frontend Reporting & Analytics: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) - Solid knowledge in creating dashboards and reports Cloud & Bl ecosystem (Google world & others)


• Foundation: Completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification with a clear focus on data management and business intelligence.


• Agility: Proven in agile and cross-functional work structures.


• Mentality: Hands-on, solution-oriented and future-oriented (always thinking one step ahead in terms of technology).

• SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)


• Cloud Data Platforms: Google BigQuery, Snowflake
