Senior Architect (GCP, Romania)

Job Description

We are seeking for a Senior Google Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of robust cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to assess business requirements, architect scalable and secure infrastructures, and provide guidance on best practices for cloud native application development, migration, and automation. You will also mentor engineering teams, ensure compliance, and drive innovation leveraging GCP services.

Your role:

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions using GCP services


• Evaluate and migrate legacy systems to Google Cloud


• Establish and enforce cloud security best practices


• Optimize cloud architectures for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency


• Automate infrastructure provisioning via Infrastructure as Code (IaC)


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and DevOps teams


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals


• Review, troubleshoot, and resolve architecture and deployment issues


• Keep up to date with GCP advancements, and recommend adoption where appropriate

Your profile:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP


• Expertise in cloud architecture, security, and networking


• Proficiency in automation tools and IaC (Terraform, Deployment Manager)


• Strong understanding of containerization (Kubernetes, GKE)


• Excellent communication and leadership skills


• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred


• English fluent
