Senior Atlassian Integration / Connectors Expert

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Integration Expert to design and implement integrations between BMC Remedy (Smart IT) and Jira Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing ITSM processes and ticket workflows between BMC Remedy and Jira Cloud.


• Gather requirements and define the required connector functionality.


• Design technical interfaces, data models, field mappings and triggers.


• Develop and implement the Jira connector for BMC Remedy.


• Perform integration testing and quality assurance.


• Support rollout and go-live.


• Create technical documentation and administration guidelines.


• Train ITSM and Jira administration teams.


• Support and further develop the connector.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Jira Cloud and Atlassian integrations.


• Experience integrating Jira with BMC Remedy / Smart IT or comparable ITSM platforms.


• Knowledge of APIs, interfaces, workflows and data mappings.


• Experience with integration testing and connector development.


• Strong communication and documentation skills.


• Fluent German and English.


• Automotive experience is a plus.

Important: Practical project experience is mandatory; theoretical knowledge alone is not sufficient.
