If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nThe Senior Solution Architect is part of the IT Project Delivery department which deals as a supplier, with the analysis, budgeting, documentation, design, construction of the technical solution, development and implementation of Information Technology projects from the Vodafone Romania Technologies portfolio, for its external clients, from their contracting until their official closure. Solution Architect transforms the business needs of external clients into a technical solution, following which a technical system is created. The purpose of the system is to automate and streamline a series of business processes, to create a product or service, which brings a strategic advantage to the client and financial efficiency.\n\nMain Responsibilities: \n\u2022 IT Requirements and Trends Analysis: \no Analyzes and responds to clients\u0027 business requirements in order to build, adapt and harmonize IT solutions \no Analyzes specific communications industry technologies, global IT development trends, global IT systems development methodologies, market requirements and its development trends, proposes an IT solution in accordance with the business need, budget and available time requested by external clients\n\n\u2022 IT Solution Design: \no Designs forward-looking and reusable IT solutions for end clients \no Ensures that IT solutions proposed in response to client requests fit and correspond to their architectural requirements; validates together with other IT system designers the differences between the detailed architecture of the proposed IT solution and the architecture at the organization level and proposes solutions to align and harmonize them.\n\n\u2022 Contribution to IT strategies: \no Maintains the strategy and development of the systems in the client portfolio, in accordance with the long-term development plan of the IT department\n\n\u2022 Other responsibilities: \no Identifies the risks that may arise in the use of current technical platforms and makes proactive proposals for improving the technical platforms and systems, which will bring a strategic benefit to the client \no Coordinates analysts and system engineers within the projects and reviews and validates the detailed technical requirements proposed by them to ensure the compatibility of the requirements with the designed and proposed IT solution\n\n\u2022 Understands and complies with the Internal Regulations, internal policies and procedures, the Vodafone Group Code of Conduct, the \"Compliance in Vodafone\" policy - an integral part of the Internal Regulations. \n\u2022 At the request of the hierarchical superior, performs other tasks that are directly related to the main responsibilities detailed above \n\u2022 Participates in all mandatory internal courses, communicated by the Employer and in all professional training programs/courses established and communicated by the Employer \n\u2022 Establishes, together with the direct manager, individual and/or group objectives, both professional and personal development, and inserts them into the Employer\u0027s specific online system.\n\n## Who you are\n\nSkills, knowledge and experience: \n\u2022 Good understanding of the telecommunications industry \n\u2022 Good knowledge of databases and IT systems \n\u2022 Good understanding of the life cycle of an IT product (hardware, software, databases, applications, licenses) and its development \n\u2022 Good knowledge of project management \n\u2022 Financial knowledge \n\u2022 Experience in supplier management \n\u2022 Experience in integrated IT systems \n\u2022 4 years of experience in the Information Technology field \n\u2022 Preferably 1 year of experience in roles similar to that of a software system engineer \n\u2022 Abstract, conceptual, innovative thinking, forward-thinking \n\u2022 Good communication skills \n\u2022 Ability to make decisions and influence the decision-making process \n\u2022 Negotiation and coordination skills\n\n\u2022 Mandatory: \no Minimum 5 years of experience in project implementation \no Minimum 5 years of experience in TELECOM and industry-specific projects \no Minimum 1 very large project implemented (\u003e 1 Million Euro) \no Solid knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies \no Solid knowledge of DevOps tools and processes\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
