Job Description - Solution Architect, Salesforce B2B Commerce

Weâre looking for a B2B Commerce Solution Architect to design smart, scalable, lowâcode/noâcode commerce solutions using powerful platformânative tools like Salesforce B2B Commerce. Youâll turn complex business needs into elegant, configurable solutions - minimizing custom code while maximizing impact.

lead the design and implementation of scalable, configurable solutions within a low-code/no-code platform environment.

enable robust B2B commerce capabilities by leveraging platform-native configuration tools, minimizing custom development, and aligning technology with business goals.

design and configure solutions using the platform's point-and-click configuration tools to meet business process and application requirements.

lead the assessment of business requirements, collection and identification of technical specifications, and the subsequent development of technology solutions.

interface with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into configurable software components.

develop prototypes using configuration tools and demonstrate these to stakeholders to validate solution approach.

collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the configuration supports the desired business processes.

provide expertise in the platform's configuration capabilities during the solution design and implementation phases.

ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and can be seamlessly integrated with other systems.

conduct solution testing and troubleshooting, resolving configuration issues as they arise.

document the configuration details and maintain records of system changes.

stay current with the latest updates and features of the platform and evaluate their applicability to organizational needs.

lead and mentor a team of configuration specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure effective solution delivery.

facilitate team meetings and ensure clear communication of project goals and progress.

coordinate team efforts to align with project timelines and business objectives.

conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

offer career guidance and support professional development for direct reports, helping them achieve their career goals

Requirements

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Systems Analyst in B2B commerce environments.

Hands-on experience with platforms offering extensive configuration capabilities (e.g., Salesforce B2B Commerce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics).

Demonstrated success in deploying enterprise-grade solutions with minimal custom coding.

Fluency in English

Education Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. C

Certifications related to the specific platform(s) of expertise (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, ServiceNow System Administrator).

Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.

Deep understanding of B2B commerce workflows, pricing models, and customer hierarchies.

Strong grasp of configuration management principles and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communicator with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
