If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nThe Solution Designer in the Digital team collects requirements, assists clients in defining functional specifications for proposed services and systems and transforms them into technical specifications.\n\n * Participate in the evaluation, design and implementation of projects and is responsible for providing the technical solution for the IT systems in his / her responsibility based on the business needs of the clients; assesses the impact of implementing software changes in current IT systems, thinks and implements appropriate technical solutions.\n * Create technical documentation (articles + sequence diagrams) for new / existing solutions or for knowledge transfer\n * Provide support for release deployment to developers and operational teams to ensure scope deliverance.\n * Provide support for other suppliers / developers during the development phase in order to provide a suitable technical solution.\n * Provide support for testing teams to prepare software testing phases to meet the quality criteria of delivered software.\n\n\n\n## Who you are\n\n * Experience of working in an IT team environment.\n * Profound knowledge of methodologies and tools for analysis activities.\n * Professional attitude, excellent communication skills.\n * Experience in working with business requirements and detailing them into System level Functional Specifications.\n * Analytical ability to ensure detail level articulation in analysing and specifying of functional details.\n * Ability to communicate functional level details to solution developers \u2013 to support transition, translation and development.\n\n\n\n## Must have technical qualifications and expertise:\n\n * Knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one database management system (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).\n * Experience working with REST/SOAP API\u2019s, MQ, integration processes.\n\n\n\nIt is a plus to know:\n\n * Basics of a programming language.\n * About cloud native apps and solutions, CI/CD pipeline.\n * IT infrastructure, security as design concept.\n * Experience in large scale projects (core migrations, transformational projects).\n\n\n\n## What\u0027s in it for you\n\n * A hybrid working regime: 2 days at the office, 3 remote days;\n * Unlimited subscription (voice and data) for your phone \u0026 voucher for a phone;\n * Special discounts on Vodafone products and Friends \u0026 Family offers;\n * Medical, life and surgical insurance;\n * An insurance plan and additional medical packages for you and your family;\n * Meal vouchers for shopping or a fun lunch with colleagues at the office;\n * Bookster subscription for unlimited reading;\n * Preferential rates at the gym;\n * Professional development and leadership programs;\n * Internal Wellbeing \u0026 Recognition events;\n * Extra vacation days for special events.\n\n\n\n## Who we are\n\nWe are a leading international Telco, serving millions of customers.
