Business Intelligence Intern

About the Role:

Ferrero Romania is looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to join the Trade Marketing team for a 6-month fixed-term internship, supporting the digitalization and automation of commercial and planning processes.
This role offers hands-on exposure to data, systems, and reporting tools used across Sales, Trade Marketing, and Demand Planning. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining visibility across key business processes while contributing to practical digital solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be involved in the automation and digitalization of planning processes, with a strong focus on customer operational planning and retail activations, gaining visibility on the tools and dynamics behind the Sales & Operating Planning process. Working closely with the Business Intelligence team and in collaboration with Demand Planning, you will contribute to streamlining workflows and enhancing data-driven decisions.

At the same time, you will support the optimization and automation of commercial reporting by reviewing existing reports, identifying simplification opportunities, and improving efficiency by leveraging Excel, Macros, and Power BI, alongside the Business Intelligence team. You will also contribute to the design and continuous improvement of business dashboards, collaborating with Revenue Management to develop Power BI solutions that support business insights and performance tracking.

In addition, you will gain exposure to the digitalization of key Trade Marketing processes, such as calendar management, compliance, budgeting, and activity tracking, working in close collaboration with the Trade Marketing team and contributing to increased transparency and operational effectiveness.

About You:

You are a student or recent graduate with a strong interest in data, digital tools, and automation, bringing solid analytical and technical skills. Proficiency in English, along with a very good command of Excel (formulas), and exposure to Macros and Power BI, is essential to succeed in this role. You are curious about how data supports business decisions and motivated to turn complex information into simple, efficient solutions. While previous business experience is not required, we are looking for someone with a strong foundation in data and technical capabilities, quick learning ability, and a proactive, “can-do” approach.
