Hardware Designer in Series Production - Internship (Iasi)

Through its long-term Vision Zero Strategy, AUMOVIO innovates solutions for greater road safety, with accident prevention and the protection of drivers and passengers as focal points in vehicle development. The product portfolio ranges from electronic and hydraulic brake and chassis control systems to sensors, advanced driver assistance systems, airbag electronics, and sensorics.

One of these R&D branches - SAM ASC ESS - develops state-of-the-art active suspension systems in Iasi, improving the vehicle's dynamic stability and enhancing lateral stability when cornering.

 

As an intern in our team, your daily activity will be in the field of designing and developing digital and analog electrical circuits, calculating, simulating, analyzing the function of components in various circuits and realize different testing situations using specific tools like PS Spice, Eagle, Power Point.

• Create documentation for component changes on the series products;
• Present the reports to Project team and stakeholders;
• Create Component Analysis;
• Analyze various projects schematic; 
• Collaborate with the system, software and mechanical teams in numerous applications; 
• Support to ensure the continuous production of ECUs in several plants with HW expertise; 
• Take initiative in proposing solutions for various situations in order to assess the technical risks on projects; 
• Create technical analysis for component changes in projects;
• Work and collaborate with colleagues around the globe.

You can be a perfect match to our team if you: 

• Are currently enrolled in the 4th year of a relevant Bachelor's degree or pursuing/completing a Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Medical Bioengineering, Automation and Computer Science).
• Have basic knowledge of electronic circuits behavior; 
• Ability to read and understand an electronic schematic;
• Proficient in English B1/B2 (reading, writing and speaking);
• Presentation skills;
• Ability to read a component datasheet.

It is a plus:  

• Basic knowledge about automotive technologies; 
• Basic knowledge about Electromagnetic Compatibility; 
• Basic knowledge of functional safety; 
• Experience with laboratory equipment’s (oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter etc.).
