Internship - Accounting

Purpose Statement: Actively engage in financial activities across the business, building experiences and knowledge to enable ongoing progressive development. Providing support within the Finance Department across a variety of activities as per Training requirements.\n\nKey Job Accountabilities:\n\n * Sales price verification\n * Assist in Month End Activities\n * Financial journal creation and entry\n * Assist in the analysis of historical results, quoted margins and projected margins\n * Provide Finance and Accounting support across the department\n\n\n\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\n\n * Currently pursing a degree in finance, accounting or related field.\n\n\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\n * Familiarity with financial principles and accounting concepts.\n * Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software. Analytical mindset with attention to detail for data analysis and financial modeling.\n * Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n * Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
