General Information

Mechanical Engineering activities in Iasi in MTC department are focused on designing components for Inverters used in various automotive applications.

To support these activities, we have initiated an Internship Program dedicated to Design Verification The main mission of the role is to evaluate proposed designs for compliance with internal design guidelines and legal requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Introduction to PTC Creo.


• Working with examples from the Schaeffler project portfolio.


• Application of GD&T principles and company-specific design guidelines.


• Knowledge of electric vehicle architectures and components is considered a strong advantage.

Your Qualifications

• 4th year Bachelor’s student or 1st Master’s student in a relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanics, Mechatronics, Machine Manufacturing);


• Solid theoretical foundation in disciplines such as (e.g. Rezistenta Materialelor, Desen Tehnic, Tolerante si control dimensional;)


• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles.


• Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g. Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, Catia).


• English – independent user.


• MS Office – independent user.


• Knowledge of electric vehicles – considered a plus.

A dedicated mentor will guide you throughout the internship, helping you become familiar with our products, tools, processes, and organizational structure.
