This program is dedicated for IT&C Security Master - Cyber Security Master Students from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE)

• Duration: 280 h 

• Start date:  03.08.2026 -  30.09.2026 

• Application Deadline: 29.06.2026 

• This is an unpaid practice program 

 What are we looking for?    

Motivated master students with a strong willingness to learn. Not yet experts, but future ones. 

Main competencies 

 Education 

• Master student at the Academy of Economic Studies 
  (IT&C Security Master - Cyber Security Master) 

 Basic technical foundations (exposure is enough) 

• Understanding of core IT security concepts (CIA triad, threats, vulnerabilities) 

• Basic knowledge of:  

• Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS) 

• Operating systems (Windows / Linux) 

• Applications and APIs 

• Introductory familiarity with:  

• Cryptography concepts 

• Authentication & authorization 

• Risk or compliance concepts (nice to have) 

 Soft skills & mindset (very important) 

• Curiosity and willingness to learn 

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 

• Responsibility and respect for confidentiality 

• Clear communication and teamwork skills 

• Genuine interest in real-world security, not just theory 

• You leverage your curiosity and automation tools (including AI) to turn change into value and continuously improve how we work. 

 No prior work experience is .

Our Security team helps protect what matters most, from customer and business data to the systems and standards behind them.  

We work across teams, functions and borders to manage risk, support secure digital change and make security part of how the business moves forward. 

What will you gain?    

• Hands‑on exposure to enterprise security application security, encryption & data protection, secure architecture principles, risk‑based security decisions 

• Understanding how security works in a regulated environment, financial & insurance sector, compliance, audits, and security governance, real constraints and trade‑offs 

• Practical experience, not simulated labs, working with real teams and real systems, observing how incidents, risks and controls are handled.
