Salary Package: Up to USD 7,000 per month

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a strong Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef-level professional with a solid European culinary background to support an ultra-luxury events and banqueting company in Saudi Arabia. This is an immediate, three-month assignment focused on supporting high-end catering operations, delivering exceptional culinary standards, and leading kitchen operations across prestigious events and functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily kitchen operations for luxury catering, banquets, private events, and high-profile functions.


• Prepare and present high-quality European cuisine while maintaining exceptional taste, presentation, and consistency.


• Assist in planning menus suitable for diverse event formats, including plated dinners, buffets, receptions, and VIP functions.


• Supervise and mentor kitchen teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established culinary standards.


• Personally oversee and support live catering events, ensuring smooth culinary execution and service delivery on-site.


• Maintain strict food quality, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards throughout all stages of production.


• Monitor food preparation, portion control, and presentation to ensure consistency during high-volume service.


• Support pre-event preparation, live event execution, and post-event kitchen operations.


• Work closely with culinary and events teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of all catering requirements.


• Assist with inventory control, stock management, food cost monitoring, and minimization of kitchen waste.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or equivalent senior culinary leadership role.


• Strong professional background and expertise in European cuisine is essential.


• Previous experience within luxury catering, high-end events, banqueting, or premium hospitality operations is highly preferred.


• Demonstrated ability to manage and support high-volume catering operations while maintaining exceptional culinary standards.


• Comfortable working on-site and personally overseeing the culinary execution of external catering events and functions.


• Strong hands-on leadership skills with the ability to support, guide, and motivate kitchen teams.


• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.


• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, adapt quickly, and respond to demanding event schedules and operational requirements.


• Available to start ASAP and commit to an approximately three-month contract assignment.


• Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama are highly preferred.


• Candidates based outside Saudi Arabia may also be considered, with the possibility of expedited travel arrangements under an appropriate short-term visa.
