Job Description - Cloud Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Oracle (OCI), or Google Cloud (GCP). 

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and testing. 

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications and services for performance, availability, and cost efficiency. 

- Implement security best practices for cloud resources, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards. 

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design scalable, reliable, and resilient cloud architectures. 

- Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. 

- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency. 

- Keep up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations for adoption. 

- Document cloud architectures, processes, and operational procedures for internal teams.
