Your work profile

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud applications using ABAP RAP (Managed and Unmanaged), CDS Views (Interface, Consumption, and Analytical), and OData V4 services.


• Develop end-to-end backend solutions following SAP Clean Core principles and upgrade-safe extensibility practices.


• Build and enhance applications using Developer Extensibility and In-App Extensibility while leveraging whitelisted APIs.


• Implement Flexible Workflow, validations, determinations, business events, and background processing using Technical Jobs and Application Job Framework (AJF).


• Perform debugging, performance optimization, code reviews, and ensure compliance with ATC, AUnit, RAP Contract Checks, and quality standards.


• Design and implement secure APIs, communication arrangements, authorization concepts, and role-based access control.


• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven capabilities such as automation, intelligent insights, summarization, and AI-assisted development within SAP solutions.


• Develop and manage AI-enabled applications using SAP AI Core on SAP BTP and monitor AI scenarios through SAP AI Launchpad supporting SAP Joule.


• Leverage SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Build Apps as complementary extensibility solutions alongside RAP-based developments.


• Utilize SAP BTP Integration Suite (API Management and Cloud Integration) to orchestrate secure integrations between SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Joule, and third-party AI services.


• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and innovative SAP cloud solutions.Mentor junior BAs and support readiness of business SMEs.

Key skills required

Strong hands-on experience in ABAP RAP (Managed and Unmanaged), CDS Views (Interface, Consumption, and Analytical), and OData V4 development.

Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud development with a strong understanding of Clean Core architecture and upgrade-safe extensibility.

Experience implementing Developer Extensibility, In-App Extensibility, and working with whitelisted APIs.

Expertise in Flexible Workflow, validations, determinations, business events, and background processing using Technical Jobs and AJF.

Strong experience in debugging, performance tuning, code optimization, code reviews, and ensuring compliance with ATC, AUnit, and RAP Contract Checks.

Good understanding of APIs, communication arrangements, security architecture, and role-based authorization concepts.

Mandatory awareness of SAP AI/ISLM with the ability to identify and implement AI-powered business capabilities.

Working knowledge of SAP AI Core and SAP AI Launchpad on SAP BTP.

Familiarity with SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Build Apps.

Understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite, including API Management and Cloud Integration.

Preferred experience in SAP UI5/Fiori (Fiori Elements and Freestyle applications) integrated with RAP-based OData V4 services.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
