A leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant IVF / Reproductive Medicine to join its specialist medical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior fertility specialist with strong experience in IVF, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), reproductive medicine and infertility management.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Provide specialist Consultant-level care in Reproductive Medicine and IVF.
⢠Assess and manage patients presenting with male and female infertility.
⢠Manage IVF and assisted reproduction treatment cycles.
⢠Perform and/or oversee relevant ART procedures, including:
a. IVF
b. ICSI
c. Oocyte retrieval
d. Embryo transfer
e. Frozen embryo transfer
⢠Ovulation induction and controlled ovarian stimulation
⢠Manage recurrent implantation failure and recurrent pregnancy loss where relevant.
⢠Provide appropriate counseling and treatment planning for fertility patients.
⢠Work collaboratively with embryologists, fertility nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
⢠Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance and documentation.
⢠Participate in service development, teaching and clinical audit as required.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
⢠Medical degree such as MBBS, MBChB or equivalent, from a recognized institution.
⢠Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
⢠Formal postgraduate qualification/training in Reproductive Medicine, IVF, Assisted Conception or an equivalent recognized sub-specialty pathway, appropriate to the intended Consultant classification.
⢠Significant Consultant-level experience in IVF/Reproductive Medicine.
⢠Strong hands-on experience in ART procedures, particularly IVF, ICSI, oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer.
⢠A recognized Western qualification is required in accordance with the employer's criteria.
⢠Must be eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) professional classification at the required Consultant level.
⢠Candidates should be able to provide qualification, professional registration and experience documents required for the SCFHS assessment and verification process.
