Overview


The job holder is responsible for managing contract management activities within approved procurement frameworks, including contract drafting, review, and approval, and overseeing the full contract lifecycle from execution to closure. The role ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements while supporting reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement of contract processes, to ensure effective governance and protection of organizational interests across NHCI.


Key Responsibilities



  • Executes contract management activities within approved procurement frameworks and plans, ensuring structured and consistent implementation across the contract lifecycle.

  • Coordinates contract drafting, review, and finalization processes in alignment with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

  • Monitors the use of approved contract templates, terms, and conditions in coordination with Legal Affairs to ensure compliance and standardization.

  • Executes vendor framework agreements by incorporating technical, commercial, and service level requirements in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

  • Coordinates contract variations and amendments by validating requests, assessing impact, and ensuring proper approvals and documentation.

  • Monitors contract renewals and terminations by tracking validity periods, reviewing performance outcomes, and supporting appropriate actions.

  • Coordinates contract-related claims and disputes with Legal Affairs to ensure proper resolution in line with policies and contractual obligations.

  • Performs verification of vendor invoices against contract terms to ensure accuracy and alignment with deliverables and payment conditions.

  • Maintains structured contract records and repositories to ensure traceability, data integrity, and audit readiness.

  • Monitors contract compliance by reviewing approvals, supporting documentation, and adherence to governance requirements.

  • Prepares contract management reports highlighting status, risks, deviations, and financial exposure for decision-making.

  • Coordinates post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement.


Qualifications & Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supply, Business Administration, Finance, or Law, or any related field is required

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience

  • Certifications in CIPS (MCIPS), CPSM, CSCP, WorldCC Contract & Commercial Management – Practitioner or Advanced are optional
