Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer – Surface Wellhead Systems to join our Engineering team in KSA. This role focuses on the design, development, and technical documentation of wellhead components, including casing heads, tubing heads, spools, hangers, and Christmas trees. The ideal candidate will apply industry standards such as API 6A and API 17D to ensure robust, compliant, and high-performance product designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Design and develop components for surface wellhead and Christmas tree systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Generate detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  
  


• 
  

  Perform mechanical calculations related to pressure containment, structural loads, and sealing integrity in accordance with API 6A.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare product datasheets, technical reports, and other engineering documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to support prototype development and production.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in testing, qualification (PR1, PR2, PSL1-4), and validation processes for new and existing products.

  
  


• 
  

  Investigate and address non-conformance reports (NCRs) and engineering change notices (ECNs); implement design improvements based on field performance and customer feedback.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

  
  


• 
  

  2–5 years of experience in designing wellhead systems or pressure-containing equipment for the oil and gas sector.

  
  


• 
  

  Solid understanding of API 6A, ASME Section VIII, and NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and FEA tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
