Responsibilities

The main purpose of the Estimator’s role is to execute estimation work in a timely and accurate manner and as per the Company’s policies.

Corporate

  • Support the development of KSA national employees across the team to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets and the knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance
  • Conduct affairs with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance
  • Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values 
  • Adbot systems implementation and ERP where relevant

Functional

  • Accurately price bid document items (construction materials and services)
  • Control the accuracy of bills of quantities 
  • Review and analyze supplier quotations provided by the RFQ team, validate the analysis and select the most appropriate and most competitive prices for use in the proposal
  • Conduct research and studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs for project
  • Prepare and analyze project cost for tenders
  • Analyze and compile data on construction factors, such as labor, materials, special machinery requirements, etc.
  • Maintain the estimation database and ensure all tender prices are recorded 
  • Report to and support the Senior Estimator on all issues related to tendering
  • Coordinate closely with all Corporate Functions (e.g. Procurement, PMV, Contracts & Commercial, etc.) to ensure their effective contribution during the proposal preparation 
  • Manage relations with external parties which provide services that feed into the proposal preparation


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in engineering, Masters preferred
  • CCS Candy Experience is a must
  • 3 years’ experience in Tendering in a comparable sized operation to ESEC
  • Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to details
  • Fluent in English and preferably Arabic language
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites

Competencies

  • Knowledge in estimating and bidding.
  • Knowledge in Project Management.
  • Knowledge in QA/QC Management.
  • Knowledge in data gathering and assessment.
