General Manager - Logistics

Job Scope

The General Manager will provide leadership to the company to achieve the key objectives of the company in the Saudi logistics market and build a strong brand in the industry. He\she will be responsible for the overall performance of the company in terms of both operational & financial areas.

He will be responsible for developing & executing the business plan & the achievement of Key performance indicators in the areas of customer, financial, internal business processes, people & suppliers. He\she will design, plan & manage all company resources to enhance value to all company stakeholders.



Qualifications (Experience & Skills)

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in logistics (packing and removals, warehousing, freight forwarding, customs clearance, local transportation) industry with at least 02 years’ experience in a similar capacity in Saudi Arabia / GCC.

• Proven experience as GM.

• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.

• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.

• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.

• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.

• Proven experience with P&L management, Data Analysis (Forecast/Budgeting).

• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.

• Deep knowledge of logistics industry.

• Comprehensive understanding of the logistics market in Saudi Arabia.

• Profound experience in dealing with customers as well as experience in sales, marketing, and

Service(s).

• Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.

• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

• Strong social competency, customer orientation, empathy, and integrity.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

• An analytical mind with a strategic ability.



Logistics related professional qualification such as (CILT) or (CLA) will be an added advantage
