The candidate will play a critical role in leading SAP finance transformation initiatives, driving end-to-end implementations, migration activities, support operations, and stakeholder management across business and IT teams.The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO processes, integration capabilities, migration methodologies, and team leadership skills.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP FICO Functional ResponsibilitiesLead and manage SAP FICO implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects. Configure and support: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) Bank Accounting Cost Center Accounting (CCA) Profit Center Accounting (PCA) Internal Orders Product Costing Profitability Analysis (COPA) Handle month-end and year-end closing processes. Analyze business requirements and provide SAP-based finance solutions. Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW developments. Coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, MM, SD, PP, and other cross-functional teams. Conduct testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT. Support production issues and ensure timely resolution. New GL Migration ResponsibilitiesLead or participate in SAP New GL Migration projects. Perform: Ledger configuration Document splitting setup Parallel accounting configuration Real-time integration between FI and CO Migration cockpit activities Execute migration phases including: Pre-checks Data validation Reconciliation Cutover activities Post-migration support Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards during migration. Work with finance stakeholders to redesign chart of accounts and reporting structures where applicable. Support migration from Classic GL to New GL/S4HANA Finance environment. Team & Stakeholder ManagementManage and mentor junior consultants and support teams. Collaborate with business users, finance leadership, auditors, and IT teams. Drive requirement gathering workshops and solution discussions. Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and governance processes. Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical SkillsStrong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support. Proven experience in SAP New GL Migration projects. Knowledge of: Parallel ledgers Document splitting Segment reporting Financial closing processes CO integration Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Finance. Understanding of interfaces, IDOCs, LSMW, BDC, and data migration tools. Knowledge of SAP reporting tools. Functional SkillsStrong understanding of finance and accounting processes. Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, statutory reporting, and compliance standards. Ability to map business requirements into SAP solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Mandatory QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, IT, or related field. 7–10 years of SAP FICO experience. Minimum 1–2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Minimum 1 SAP New GL Migration project experience. Strong experience in SAP FI and CO integration. Preferred QualificationsCA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred. SAP FICO certification preferred. S/4HANA Finance experience is an added advantage.
