Job Description:

Parsons are seeking an experienced Procurement Quality Control Supervisor to oversee quality assurance and compliance in procurement activities for a large-scale airfield/airport development program.

This role requires a strong background in procurement processes, material inspections, vendor quality management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in procurement quality supervision, preferably in aviation or large infrastructure projects.

The Procurement Quality Control Supervisor will ensure all procured materials, equipment, and services meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements to support safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervise inspection and quality control of materials, equipment, and services procured for the airport project.
• Verify that all procurement activities comply with project specifications, standards, and contractual obligations.
• Develop and enforce procurement quality procedures, checklists, and reporting systems.
• Conduct vendor qualification assessments, audits, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure suppliers meet quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier corrective actions and maintain records of non-conformances and resolutions.
• Plan and oversee inspection and testing activities for procured items, including certificates of compliance, factory acceptance tests, and site inspections.
• Ensure timely identification and reporting of defects, deviations, or non-conforming materials.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate and auditable records of procurement inspections, approvals, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, international standards, and project-specific quality requirements.
• Prepare periodic quality reports and dashboards for management review.
• Identify areas for process improvement in procurement quality control.
• Implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and lessons learned to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior QC personnel on quality standards and inspection procedures.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement quality control or assurance.
• Experience in airport, aviation, or large infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement standards, inspection techniques, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in quality management systems, inspection protocols, and procurement documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with vendors, contractors, and project teams.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory and contractual compliance requirements.

• Professional certifications: PMP, CQE, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with multi-stakeholder procurement processes in aviation or airfield projects.
• Familiarity with digital procurement platforms, ERP systems, and inspection tracking tools.
