Promotions Editor

Responsibility

• Produce impressive, dynamic News-driven promotions and graphics.  


• Work closely with post-production manager, post-production team, and Promo Producers. 


• Must have a strong creative drive and crafting assets for promotional content


• Be able to produce an edit based promo showing the range of editing styles


• Edit raw video footage and be able to track, color correct, and rotoscope.


• Design and create enticing motion graphics and compositing for promos


• Clearly able to communicate an artistic vision or bring ideas to life


• Ability to work supervised and unsupervised in a very dynamic fast-paced environment. 


• Troubleshoot and improve on post-production optimizations. 


• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new edit and design perspectives and ideas.


• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, brand guidelines, and design standards.

Requirements: 

• At least 7 years in a creative/post-production (studio, agency, Tv Creative Services, or freelance) 


• Ability to manage self-manage and organize workloads around tight deadlines 


• Strong oral and written communication skills 


• Languages: Arabic (Must) and English 


• Be flexible with timing, and be able to work shift patterns and outside regular office hours 


• Excellent housekeeping and file management 


• Have knowledge of the TV media industry, and show knowledge of Broadcast standards. 


• Good timekeeping is essential 


• Ability to manage self-manage and organize workloads around tight deadlines 


• Expertise in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.


• Ability to Color grade raw footage and composite graphics.


• Experience in the Middle East market is a plus. 


• Knowledge of Da Vinci is a plus.
