The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and control van sales operations within an assigned sub-region.

The role is responsible for achieving budgeted sales volume and profitability across Almarai products by effectively managing sales areas, driving distribution and market execution, optimizing resources, and developing high-performing sales teams. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial awareness with hands-on van sales experience and the leadership capability to deliver results in a demanding FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead van sales operations to achieve sales, margin and profitability targets.


• Set sales targets and monitor area and route performance.


• Maximize distribution, product availability and market share.


• Drive new business opportunities while controlling wastage, costs and credit.


• Lead, coach and develop Sales Supervisors and sales teams.


• Monitor market and competitor activity and execute appropriate sales initiatives.


• Plan manpower, sales vans, budgets and operational resources effectively.


• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health and hygiene standards.

Candidates without the following will not be considered

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.


• Minimum 6 years of sales management (Modern Trade) experience.


• Proven experience within a van sales environment.


• Demonstrated experience in managing sales teams.


• Strong knowledge of sales operations and market dynamics.


• Strong leadership, team management, planning and execution capabilities.


• Good computer and sales analysis skills.


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


• Verbal and written English communication skills.


• Arabic proficiency.


• Valid driving license.
