Senior Bartender

Job Description

The Senior Bartender is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring high standards of beverage quality, service, and customer satisfaction. The role involves preparing and serving beverages efficiently, maintaining an organized and clean bar area, and ensuring compliance with company standards, food safety, hygiene, and responsible service practices.

The Senior Bartender supports the Bar Manager or Restaurant Management in supervising the bar team, coordinating daily tasks, training and coaching team members, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods. The position also assists with inventory control, stock management, beverage preparation, cost control, and minimizing waste.

The role requires excellent knowledge of beverages, strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Senior Bartender is also expected to handle customer requests professionally, resolve service issues, and contribute to maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender, preferably in a senior or supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, bar operations, and service standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, support, and train bar team members.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage inventory, stock levels, and beverage costs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
