Role title:  IT ERP ABAP IS-U/FICA Developer

Role purpose:

The IT ERP ABAP developer & Solution design specialist is responsible for assessing functional requirements and providing the technical solution design in the area that supports SAP FI, RMCA/FICA business processes. Collaborating with Functional team and stakeholders he/she will be involved in analysing functional specifications, developing high level feasibility analysis, detailed design and develop ABAP objects. In collaboration with senior designers and developers he/she will be asked to provide effort estimation and plan to delivery.

Knowledge of the various SAP ABAP/ABAP on HANA development objects (RICEFWs, APIs, RFC, CDS views, AMDP, Rest APIs, OData services) is essential to manage properly the assigned tasks, complemented by rock solid technical skills and experience in SAP.  Debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving analysis capabilities are required as well. As part of IT ERP SAP Centre of Expertise, cooperates in resolving incidents and implementing change requests. Essential for the role are also soft skills as team player, responsible attitude to actively drive activities to completion.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

·      Translate functional design to technical design

·      RICEFW objects development.

·      Configurations and customizing of business.

·      Technical, unit test and other documentations

·      Unit testing, system testing along with test case preparations

·      As an ABAP consultant, need to design, develop, and support application solutions with focus on SAP ABAP/ABAP on HANA/Rest APIs.

·      Coordinate and interact with project team during analysis and implementation of technical enhancements as well as resolution of defects during testing

·      Manage the assigned project to achieve the business requirements within the agreed timeline and budget.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

·      6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

·      SAP RMCA/FICA module experience is required

·      Configuration and customizing experience in RMCA/FICA

·      RICEFW development, documentation, and testing experience

·      Reporting and enhancement (FQEVENT, BADI, other Enhancements) experience

·      Interface development experience in ALE/IDOCS, File interfaces, Rest APIs, Odata and Web services is mandatory.

·      Working knowledge on OO ABAP (Object Oriented Programming).

·      Experience in Migration of legacy data to SAP would be helpful

·      Experience in EMIGALL (SAP Migration tool) would be helpful

·      Experience in Agile methodologies would be helpful

·      Experience in HANA and FIORI developments would be helpful

·      Experience in tools like JIRA and confluence would be helpful.

·      Strong debugging skills.

·      Good understanding of RMCA/FICA business processes flow (Payment Lot, Return Lot, Direct debit Payment Runs, Dunning, Collection agency, Security deposits)

·      Excellent communication skills and ability to influence to challenge stakeholders to ensure the right requirements, and customer experience aspirations

·      Able to initiate, think ahead, plan and anticipate risks. Comfortable with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability

·      Strong understanding of software design and development. Can prepare specifications, estimates and solution documentation to support work completed

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

·      SAP FICA/RMCA ABAP (ISU ABAP)

Preferred: SAP certification

·      Preferred: Strong understanding of SAFe Agile process and best practices.

 Other requirements

·      Fluent in English

·      Knowledge of German (spoken, written) will be an added advantage.
