Sous Chef - Central Production Kitchen

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the operations of the central production kitchen.


• Ensure that food preparation adheres to the highest quality standards and meets health and safety regulations.


• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and productivity.


• Work closely with the culinary team to create and update menu items.


• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.


• Manage food costing and budgeting to achieve financial targets.


• Implement and maintain hygiene practices and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.


• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for ingredient sourcing.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant supervisory role.


• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field.


• Strong communication and leadership skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.


• Attention to detail and creative culinary skills.


• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment.


• Experience in menu planning, food costing, and kitchen management.


• Previous experience working in a central kitchen production setup is preferred.


• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive operational excellence.

Salary & Benefits:
