Standardization Pilot

Description:

Reports to the Aviation Director and provides program and training oversight for the overall MNG Aviation training programs in each Brigade. Primary Mentor for each BDE S-5 Standardization Department. Conduct qualification, refresher, readiness level, mission, continuation training and evaluation of GDC and MNG pilots in accordance with MNG-AVN Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) requirements. Conducts academic and hands-on performance training and administer evaluations to ensure pilot proficiency and standardization of training across each BDE program. Responsible for maintaining Contractor Training Records (CTR) and Individual Aircrew Training Folders (IATF) to include completing required training, currency, and readiness entries for both GDC and MNG crewmembers. Conducts Aircraft specific ground school instruction in a classroom environment, providing basic instrument instruction in the aircraft and flight training device(s), and performing flight training duties in contact, instrument, and combat skills training to MNG-AVN ATM standards IAW government approved ATM, FTG, and POI requirements. Instruction may include any combination of Individual or Group instruction in an academic classroom environment and or aircraft or simulator. Oversees Flight Operations and personnel to ensure standardization. Performs other duties as required by the Director Brigade Flight Training.

Qualifications:

Education Level:

Master's Degree Preferred or an equivalent combination of college level courses, military training and job site experience may be substituted. Baccalaureate degree required.

Experience:

15+ years of relevant military experience in divisional and TRADOC units.

Worked at the BN/BDE level or equivalent experience.

SIP experience at Fort Rucker preferred.

Minimum of 3000 total flight hours (total time) preferred.

Minimum of 1500 hours Instructor Pilot time preferred.

Minimum of 1000 hours PC is required of which 300 hours must be in type aircraft.

Minimum of 250 hours NVG or NVS time.

Specific knowledge, skills, ability:

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate required, or GACA pilot certificate required.

US Army Instructor Pilot Course graduate is required and US Army Instrument Examiner Course graduate preferred.

Must possess an FAA Class II flight physical, US military DD 2992 Upslip or GACA Flight physical and maintain an annual flight physical yearly after hire.

Knowledge of Aviation laws, regulations, SOP's, policies and operating procedures.

Demonstrate past performance in the development and program management of organizational plans, policies, and execution of complex aviation tasks to include BDE level aviation projects.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.

Ability to deal effectively with people in the completion of staff functions.

Possess a valid drivers' license.

Specific knowledge, skills, ability:

Knowledge of policies, principles, and procedures of military staff organization and operations.

Knowledge of pertinent KSA (Labor Law), SANG and OPM-SANG operational procedures concerning job related activities desired.

Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.

Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
