Venue Security Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced  Security Manager to join the team supporting a major international sporting event in the Kingdom.

This is an exciting opportunity for a security professional with strong venue operations, event security, stakeholder management, and team leadership experience to play a key role in delivering a safe, secure, and well-coordinated event environment.

Contract Duration :1 September 2026 – February 2027

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security planning and operations within the assigned venue.


• Manage venue-based FA integration and all agreements affecting security.


• Ensure full integration and alignment with the Stadium Authority and relevant stakeholders.


• Develop and maintain security-specific documentation and other documentation required by stakeholders.


• Develop and maintain the Security DOT Plan throughout all stages of the tournament using specialized software.


• Maintain the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) throughout all stages of the tournament.


• Plan and scope security-related FFE, IT, signage, and infrastructure requirements.


• Train, manage, and coordinate the venue security team.


• Manage and coordinate security service providers and ensure effective delivery of security operations.


• Act as the primary security focal point within the Venue Operational Center.


• Represent security in daily venue coordination meetings.


• Provide regular reporting to the central security team on planning and operational-phase activities.


• Support external venue security teams when required.


• Support the development and delivery of training for security service providers.


• Work closely with security managers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment across planning and operational phases.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of venue security plans, procedures, and operational readiness.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive and experienced security professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, international sporting event environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven experience in security management, preferably within major sporting events, large-scale events, venues, or complex operational environments.


• Strong experience in security planning and operational delivery.


• Experience managing security teams, contractors, and service providers.


• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.


• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational abilities.


• The ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight operational timelines.


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.


• Experience working in multicultural and international environments is highly desirable.


• Previous experience in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
