Key Responsibility Areas:

• Undertakes and/or assists with minor repairs to plants, equipment and buildings, checking on fused lighting, replacing same and reporting on defective light fittings.
• Undertakes the safe-keeping of hand tools, machinery and equipment.
• Complies with Health and Safety Regulations and instructions.
• Undertakes the unblocking and de-sludging of drains and sewer pumps.
• Erecting signage and structures throughout the market.
• Maintains electrical installations and fittings by assisting with repairing, installing cabling and plug sockets and reporting electrical defects.
• Conducts general maintenance by reporting on defects found to buildings, plumbing and roadways and assisting with the repairing of defects found.
• Attends to general housekeeping related to facilities, maintenance and surrounds.

Essential Requirements:
• An appropriate level of primary education.
• 1 Month relevant experience.
 

Preferred Requirements:
• 3 Months relevant experience.
 

Special Conditions:  Working hours: 40hours, 6 days a week.
