• Plans and controls tasks/activities associated with controlling performance, productivity and discipline.
• Manages and co-ordinates technical policies and procedures.
• Attends to daily correspondence from consumers, consulting engineers, developers etc regarding the water supply service in the region.
• Investigates proposals for new developments submitted.
• Evaluates the need for repairing or replacing and relocating existing water services.
• Oversees the operation and management of the bulk water supply system.
• Attends to water quality queries.
• Investigates damages to properties of third parties arising from burst water mains.

Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering Technology (NQF Level 7) in Civil
Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Civil Engineering Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 3 Years relevant post qualification experience.
