Key Responsibility Areas:

• Prepares bottles for sampling to ensure that the correct equipment is always available.
• Assists with the collection of samples for the laboratory.
• Cleans and prepares the laboratory apparatus and work area.
• Assists with the preparation of routine work of a technical nature and ad hoc samples for
analysis.
• Performs related tasks and assignment in the laboratory.
• Guides and assists new Laboratory Assistant appointees.
• Undertakes related assignments.

Essential Requirements:
• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent with Mathematics or Natural Science.
• 1 Year relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements:
• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent with Mathematics or Natural Science and a Good
Laboratory practice attendance certificate.
• 2 Years relevant experience.
