About the Project

We are transforming an established structural manufacturing brand into a sleek, modern digital experience. Historically, traditional construction purchasing required manual emails and slow back-and-forth plan reviews. We are overhauling our web footprint to build an intuitive B2B portal where builders, contractors, and homeowners can upload blueprints, receive automated AI estimates, and seamlessly transition into our engineering design queue.

Position Overview

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer & Web Rebrander for a 3 to 6-month contract to architect our new digital front door. In this role, you will work side-by-side with our full-time Digital Marketer and leadership to design modern user journeys. You will craft seamless interfaces that allow clients to drop in architectural plans, interact with an AI response bot for instant estimating, and track their tickets cleanly.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Portal & Web UI Design: Design modern, high-converting web interfaces (Figma/Webflow) that update our brand image into today’s era.


• AI Plan Upload & Estimation Workflows: Architect intuitive user journeys for blueprint plan uploads, interactive customer inquiries, and automated AI estimation tools.


• Engineering Ticket Integration: Partner with our Structural Design team to ensure that customer-uploaded plans cleanly format into actionable design tickets for our engineers.


• Frictionless Communication Design: Eliminate customer drop-off by building clear, modern interfaces for project updates, quotes, and FAQ bots.

Qualifications & Requirements

• UI/UX Portfolio: 3+ years of UI/UX web design experience, showing modern web redesigns, customer portals, or B2B platforms.


• Modern Tooling: Expertise in Figma, Webflow, Adobe XD, or contemporary web architecture tools.


• AI Workflow Literacy: Direct experience designing user interfaces that integrate file dropboxes, automated AI estimation bots, or chat workflows.


• Contract Flexibility: Receptive to a project-based contract (3–6 months) focused on rapid, high-impact execution.
