Key Responsibilities

• Produce and analyse daily trade P&L reports, ensuring accuracy of trading positions, inventory valuations and working capital performance.
  
• Support month -end close, management reporting, financial analysis and business decision -making.
  
• Maintain strong financial controls, compliance standards, audit readiness and risk management practices.
  
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting efficiencies across finance operations.
  
• Partner closely with trading, logistics, operations and finance teams to improve performance and resolve business challenges.
  
• Monitor commercial exposures, identify risks and provide timely reporting and escalation where required.
  

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  
• 2–4 years' experience within a commercial finance environment.
  
• Strong understanding of profitability reporting, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
  
• Exposure to trading, inventory, commodity, agricultural, or supply chain environments will be advantageous.
  
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  
• Professional finance studies or memberships will be beneficial.
  

Technical Skills

• Financial reporting and reconciliations.
  
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  
• Risk awareness and commercial acumen.
  
• Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems.
  
• Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise platforms advantageous.
