• Management of processing of accounting records
  
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
  
• Process accounting records up to trial balance
  
• Reconciliation and variance reports based on financial management information
  
• Month and year end journals and/or provisions
  
• Financial statements in accordance with relevant account framework
  
• Finalise year end check list
  
• Hand over accounting files to auditors
  
• Management of processing of audit journals
  
• Payroll administration and review of payroll administration
  
• Assist with latest software updates
  
• VAT; PAYE/UIF returns; reconciliations and payments
  
• IRP5 certificates and reconciliations
  
• WCA returns and reconciliations
  
• Preparation/ review/ submission of bi annual EMP501 returns
  
  
  

Requirements

• Finance Degree / Diploma
  
• Completed SAIPA / CIMA articles
  
• Pastel experience advantageous
  
• The ability to take ownership of work, manage time effectively, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  
• Excellent computer proficiency, with advanced experience in Excel
  
• Superior written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
  
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills and exceptional judgement
