An agency is looking for an experienced Art Director (Hybrid JHB office 3 times a week – Wednesday to Friday) to join their team on a 4-month freelance contract, working closely with a Copywriter.

Duration: 4 months
Start Date: Mid-August
End Date: Mid-December
Rate: R43,500 flat rate – non-negotiable

The Role

You’ll partner with a Copywriter to develop strong creative concepts and bring campaigns to life across relevant channels. The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker with a strong design eye, solid agency experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a creative team.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Art Director within an agency environment

Strong conceptual and visual thinking

Experience working closely with Copywriters

A strong portfolio showcasing relevant creative and campaign work

Available for the full contract period from mid-August to mid-December
