Job Description - Assistant Wildlife / Reserve Manager

Assistant Wildlife / Reserve Manager | Premier Conservation Reserve | Eastern Cape

Assistant Wildlife / Reserve Manager required to assist in all areas of the agricultural business including game breeding, conservation management, hunting safaris, and eco-tourism operations.

Package

â¢ Salary: R20,000 â R25,000 DOE

â¢ Live-in position

â¢ Housing provided for single person

Qualifications & Experience Required

â¢ Diploma in Nature Conservation, Wildlife Management or similar

â¢ 2â5 yearsâ experience in wildlife management, conservation, game breeding or similar

â¢ Valid EB Driverâs Licence (Code 08)

â¢ Working knowledge of MS Office and other management software

â¢ Experience in photography, videography and social media platform engagement advantageous

â¢ Ability to live and work in an isolated rural environment

â¢ Strong leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team

â¢ Strong report writing skills

â¢ Excellent interpersonal, communication and people management skills

â¢ Physically fit and able to perform duties required

â¢ High level of personal responsibility and accountability

â¢ Ability to work under pressure

â¢ No criminal record

â¢ Willingness to work long hours, weekends and public holidays when required

â¢ Strong work ethic and commitment to conservation principles
